Pre-registration estimates, announced last night, indicated that the total University enrollment is fast approaching its peacetime level with 7039 students scheduled to take courses in the college and graduate schools.

Veterans will make up over 4,000 of the grand total. Highest proportion of ex-servicemen is in the Business School where 359 out of 380 are former members of the armed forces. Other large percentages were turned in by the Law School (750 vets out of 800), Public Administration (32 out of 58), and Special Students (25 out of 42).

Among the Graduate Schools, Arts and Sciences predicted the largest enrollment with 950 students expected. Navy ROTC will remain constant at 300.
