Dudley Hall's commuters may now take advantage of the cafeteria service resumed last Monday, and already serving about 150 lunches a day according to an estimate of Brian Hansbury, the cafeteria steward. Meals at Dudley had been discontinued at the start of the war.
Any member of Dudley Hall may use the cafeteria, taking advantage of what Hansbury terms "cheaper meals and better quality than can be obtained anywhere else." The menu includes a special hot plate at 40 cents, soup, sandwiches, milk, and ice cream or pie, all of which is prepared at Adams House and then taken by truck to the cafeteria.
Under the supervision of the dining hall department, this new service is another effort to "do something for the boys," Roy L. Westcott, manager of dining halls, and yesterday.
