WBZ to Set Up Local Television Broadcasts

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Television screens lie in store as a new medium of entertainment for the University, possibly within the next year. To be designated WBZ-TV, a new station located adjacent to the Stadium will be Boston's first commercial television facility.

In view of the limited transmission range, the proximity of the ten-acre site on Soldiers Field Road will offer superior reception for the potential Cambridge audience. The station will be linked to the nation-wide system of the National Broadcasting Company.
