Band Makes Records Of Old College Songs

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Shades of gridiron victories took over Sanders Theater this week when the University band polished up its renditions of collegiate songs and completed the recording of the "Ivy League Album" for Trans-Radio Productions.

Under the baton of Malcolm H. Holmes '28, the "best in the east," whose intricate formations featured the half-time activities at Soldiers Field this fall, held a final recording session last night.

The well-known Dartmouth, Yale, Princeton and Harvard medleys arranged by F. Leroy Anderson '29, "Harvardiana" "10,000 Men," and Yale's "Boola-Boola" will find their way into the collection.

Ready for distribution at the beginning of next term, the six dollar album will be available through the Band's representatives in the Houses, and through mail orders to the Band at Paine Hall.
