Hasty Pudding Plans Reviving of Musicals

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Absent from the collegiate scene for five years, the Hasty Pudding Club's famed musical comedies will be resumed this spring. With a Harvard premiere set for sometime in March, the troupe will hit the boards in an eight city barn-storming tour during Easter vacation.

Although the play has yet to be selected, Theatrical President Bill Scudder '48 expects to have his music and lyrics written by the end of the exam period, and casting of the organization's 600 members underway at the beginning of the new term.

After an opening four night run at the Pudding, the snow will go on the road, making one night stands at Smith College, Buffalo, Philadelphia, Baltimore, Washington, Westchester and New York, returning to play in Boston for three days when College reopens.
