James M. Landis, Chairman of the Civil Aeronautics Board and former Dean of the Law School, will speak at both of two meetings of the Law School Forum today, discussing his recent work on the aviation board at a special afternoon session before appearing at the regular Forum in Sanders Theatre at 7:45 o'clock.
In addition to the scheduled evening Forum, where he will join with Robert M. Benjamin '17, noted administrative attorney, in a discussion of the topic "Bureaucracy and the Legal Order," Landis will speak in Langdell Court at 4 o'clock on "Critical Issues in Aviation Policy."
The question of the greatly increased use of administrative tribunals in government and their effect on the rights of parties heretofore protected by strict judicial rules of evidence and procedure will be the subject of discussion at the evening meeting, which will be moderated by Erwin N. Griswold, present Dean of the Law School.
