Garber Privately Tells Faculty That Harvard Must Rethink Messaging After GOP Victory
With $36,941.64 alrady in the coffers and more contributions rolling in steadily the University Community Fund Drive Committee announced Wednesday that it had gone "over the top" of its $32,250 goal, and thus had become the only school in the Boston area to accomplish this feat.
Breaking down this figure, it was shown that the Faculty was responsible for the greater part of the total, more than $25,000. Undergraduates, including the Student Council donation, had added $2,231 to the Fund, while University employees had contributed close to $8,000.
Graduate Schools, with the School of Arts and Schools, under the direction of Richard B. Angell, topping the list with a contribution of $776.31, donated the remaining $2000, to send the University over its quota for the first time in five years.
