Over 150 hockey hopefuls will take to the Boston Arena ice today and tomorrow for the opening practice sessions of the 1946-1947 season.

Coach John P. Chase will look over approximately one-third of his tentative squad at 2 o'clock this afternoon, with two other groups scheduled for 3:30 today and 2 o'clock tomorrow.

Twelve games are on the forthcoming calendar leading off with a December 16 tangle against the Boston Athletic Association and featuring a home game at the Garden with Princeton and two contests against Yale.
