Opening the hockey managerial competition this afternoon at 4:30 o'clock in the Athletic Association office in the basement of the Union, Varsity hockey manager Bill Swan '45 will welcome all Sophomore entrants who wish to try out.
Monday morning the Yardling candidates will be initiated in their work at 8:30 o'clock at the same meeting place. Candidates for the Varsity post will have an opportunity to be elected to the top managerial office for the '47-'48 season and Freshmen may win their numerals in the six-week competition as well as getting athletic credit for the work.
Meanwhile it was announced that the probable successor to Swan in February for the head manager's post will be Sumner Feldberg '46.
