Crimson to Harry Little Boy Blues And Tigertowners in Meet Today

Cross country competition in the Ivy League big three will be settled in one triple run-off on the rolling hills of Franklin Park at 12 o'clock today Going into its fourth meet without a clear-eat win to fits credit, the Crimson harriers will face heavy power is both the Varsity and Yardling meets.

Building and Tiger squads have and spotty seasons so far, but Yale has several strong runners in Captain J. L. Randall and Freshman Leader S. Paradise, and Princeton's Varsity has topped Rutgers while their Freshmen have been winning meets with straight scores of 15.

Today's meeting will feature the peculiar scoring system of three, dual meets run off simultaneously. Places and scores will be broken down after the running to give dual scores for Yale-Princeton, Yale-arvard, and Princeton-Harvard.

"It's a tough race--there is no question about it; but the fellows are in the best possible condition, and I am sure that they will all better their best previous records," Coach Jaakko Mikkola commented yesterday as he surveyed the prospects for a Crimson Victory.

Starred in Prep School

Paradise, who joined the Bulldogs this year after graduating from Andover, was one of the hottest pre school sprinters on record, having run a 9.7 100-yard dash and ticking off the 220 in 21.4 seconds. At Andover he ran cross country as a sideline, but beat the school's Varsity harriers with ease.

Lineup for the traditional encounter is: Ray Brown, John Cogan, Dave Groshong, Frank Gurley, Hal May, Peter Morgan, Huna Rosenfeld, Tom Walnut, Peter Ways, and Charles Worth.
