Analysing the Soviet legal system, John Hazard, professor of Law at the Russian Institute of Columbia University, will speak this afternoon at 4 o'clock in Langdell Court at the third meeting of the Law School Forum.
Chief liaison officer for Russian Lend-Lease during the war, Hazard also served as adviser to the State Department on Russian Law and participated in planning for the recent foreign trade conference. He spent three years at the Moscow Law Institute in the '30s and is one of the few Americans to receive a Russian law degree.
The meeting in Langdell today is the first afternoon session of the Forum, which all members are eligible to attend. As usual, non-members will be admitted for 50 cents.
