Four Chosen in Leverett Art Contest; Lowell Display Opens

Four undergraduate artists were named last night by the faculty judges as winners in the Leverett House are competition which ended last week.

Holders of the winning displays in the photo, painting and sculpturing fields were Alexander W. Bzdula '48, Alfred K. Mori '46, Paul G. Stone '49 and Thaxter Swan '45.

Continuing the series of University art displays, Lowell House today will open the doors of its Coolidge Room to the would-be artists. The exhibition will last through next Friday.
