Six Dances, Four Bands Will Spark Yale Weekend Plans; House Eleven Face Elimen

Promising a full strength appearance of the Whiffenpoofs to highlight its lavish Yale weekend program, the Interhouse Social Affairs Committee last night released its schedule for the November 23 weekend.

In addition to the northerly march of the realizing Eli beer-mug jugglers, two formal dances at Winthrop and Eliot Houses are planned for Friday night. Cambridge environs will be graced on Saturday night with four informal dances at Leverett, Kirkland, Lowell, and Dunster. Tickets for these affairs are on sale again tonight in the Junior Common Room of every House.

Musical interludes for the evening festivities will be offered by the assorted lands of Burt Edwards, Jerry Mitchell, Georgic Grahame, and Chappie Arnold. Every Yale man will have an opportunity to ingratiate himself with the victors if he takes advantage of the reciprocal ticket sale that is already underway in New Haven.

House football teams will tangle with rivals from the Connecticut college Friday afternoon at Soldiers Field and tentative arrangements indicate that all five available playing fields will be used. Following the games, all the Houses will conduct formal dinners in anticipation of the dances to be held at Winthrop and Eliot.

Although the Interhouse committee undertakes no responsibility for private parties, latest word forecasts at least one party in every entry immediately after the again item on the docket--a Varsity football game on Saturday afternoon.

Having just completed organization of a dance committee, the Freshmen will swing into gear on their social season a trifle late for the traditional November madness. They plan a formal dance in the Union a few weekends later.
