Putting final touches to its offensive and defensive manuovers, the Varsity eleven concluded full-scale preparations yesterday for its meeting with Rutgers on Saturday, in the first football game over played between the two colleges.
Although Ned Dewey gave the coaching staff a few grey hairs on Wednesday when he sustained a slight injury in scrimmage, the Crimson left tackle is expected to be ready for the Scarlet on Saturday. With George Haupifuhrer fit for duty and Leo Flynn out of Stillman Infirmary, where an attack of intestinal grippe had him under The Rutgers eleven will leave from its New Brunswick, N. J., hideaway this morning and is expected to work out in the Stadium today at 4 o'clock. The Varsity will undergo a light drill in the same arena earlier in the afternoon.
