Mrs. Helen McCloskey, the personality gal at the, Veterans Administration book section at Weld Hall has been signed to play in the Harvard Dramatic Production, "Adam the Creator."
Mrs. McCloskey, whose Irish bellow and piquant beauty had made her, in a few months, the best known yard personality outside of John Harvard, will be the first outside female performer to show before the HDP footlights since 1929.
(In 1929 it was a gal named Margaret Sullivan. She played opposite a fellow named Henry Fonda, also an importation. They were married a few months later.)
Mrs. McCloskey plays the part of a nagging wife.
"Adam the Creater" will show at Sanders Theatre from Nov. 12 to 16.
