NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Endicott ("Chubb") Peabody '42, selected as an All American guard in 1941 by newspaper sports scribes, has been elected 1946-47 chairman of the Cambridge American Veterans Committee chapter, it was announced last night.

Other new AVC officers are Simon O'Leary, vice chairman; Morton Sills, treasurer; Thomas Donahue, secretary, and Charles Cobb, delegate to the Area Council.

Peabody served three years in the Naval Submarine Service after his graduation, and is currently attending the University Law School. In a statement last night, he invited all Cambridge veterans to join the AVC chapter in an effort "to make it one of the best organizations Cambridge has ever seen."
