Officer and men were to establish contact from different directions. The course being Mapmaking, they couldn't miss.
But someone had blundered. Theirs not to reason why, the students deployed themselves as per instructions to the designated hill. But the sad story of too little and too late was told all over again: map-master Raisz had misread the map!
