Eliot's undefeated Elephants will face their first real gridiron test of the season this afternoon when they collide with the rapidly improving Leverett eleven in one of the two scheduled House games. Adams, with only a day of rest after holding a favored Dunster team to a 14 to 14 deadlock, will take the field against the Puritans of Winthrop.
Eliot Attack Sparkles
In its two games to date, won by identical scores of 12 to 0, Eliot has had little trouble in holding its opponents, at the same time displaying the most effective running attack of any of the intramural squads.
Despite a 6 to 0 defeat at the hands of Dudley in their opener, the Leverett Bunnies, in a subsequent close victory over Lowell, showed enough power in order for them to give Eliot a rough time of it.
Winthrop's stratospheric maneuvers, proved dangerous by an ability to penetrate Eliot's pass defense on Monday, should be troublesome to the rejuvenated Gold Coasters, who were scored on twice by the air route in their tie with Dunster.
