Wallace - Byres Split Is Scheduled Issue for AVC Panel Tomorrow

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

To aid in clearing the air surrounding an issue that can well "divide and wreck the liberal movement in America," the Harvard Chapter of the American Veterans Committee will sponsor an open forum on U. S. Foreign policy tomorrow evening in Emerson D at 7:30 o'clock.

Debating on the topic, "Wallace or Byres?--Are Russia and the U. S. Headed for War?," will be Stanley Carson '49, Raymond Baer, Joseph Clear, and Robert Kibitz. All University students, members or non-members of AC, are invited to attend the gathering.

Nominations for chapter offices, to be voted upon at the next general membership meeting, are scheduled for the opening of the event.
