Voicing vigorous denial of recent stories in the Boston newspapers stating that a new basketball coach has been chosen, William J. Bingham '16, head of the H.A.A., stated yesterday that the job is still open and that as yet he has no announcement to make on the subject.

Bingham said that he had talked to at least four other men on his recent trip out west including Bill Barclay, the man who reportedly had been given the job to coach the Crimson five in the 1946-47 season.
