Serving an estimated 150 civilian undergraduates and several thousand enlisted personnel, the SERVICE NEWS will continue publication during the abbreviated summer term on the current one paper a week schedule, the editors announced last night. Publication will be Thursday, as at present, with a Freshman issue on Friday, July 6.
To strengthen and replenish the staff that will be needed to resume twice-weekly publication next autumn, competitions for all boards will be held during the summer. A special Commencement issue, to be distributed in the Yard next Thursday, will complete this term's operations.
