After jumping out into an early lead in the spring basketball tourney, an uninspired Lowell five went down to defeat twice last weekend to virtually end all hopes of their copping the league laurels, Friday, they were slapped by Company C 39 to 28, and yesterday it was Company B who toppled the Bellboys by the same score.
In other contests, Company B notched another win, this time from NROTC 3A by the score of 39 to 34; and Standish tightened its grip on first place with a 38 to 30 victory over NROTC 1-2. This afternoon Company A will go up against Company B, while Standish meets Adams.
