Two orchestras will play at the 1948 Jubilee, scheduled to run from 8 to 12 o'clock on May 26. George Greggory's band, including ten pieces and a vocalist, will supply music for dancers in the Kirkland dining hall, while Baron Hugo's sextet is to play for couples in the common room.
Attendance at the Jubilee is limited to 300 couples because of the size of the dance floor. With almost 450 members of the Class of 1948 in the College at the present time, the Committee has announced that tickets will not be sold to upperclassmen for at least a week and a half, although for '48 men they go on sale today in the dining halls.
Each man who purchases a ticket will be entitled to an invitation to send his date and will be asked for her name and college or home town.
On the afternoon of the Jubilee there will be a baseball game and tennis match with Worcester Tech at Soldiers Field, as well as a lacrosse match with Deer-field Academy.
