Tennis and singles rowing will begin officially on Monday for all civillian undergraduates, Adolph W. Samborski, assistant director of Physical Education, announced yesterday. Major athletic credits will be given for participation in these two activities.
One hour of play will be required for the credit in tennis, and a half-hour of rowing, with the students checking with the attendants both before and after the activity. On rainy days, Samborski added, a "No Tennis" sign will be posted on the middle door of the Indoor Athletic Building before 11 o'clock, and the 4:45 and 5:30 o'clock conditioning classes will move to the Briggs Cage.
