OXFORD GROUP HERE TO TOUR FOGG, WIDENER

Dean Chase to Accompany Visiting English Educators

Members of an Oxford University Commission to study American university teaching methods will visit the College today as part of their three-week tour of the United States.

The group will be welcomed in Massachusetts Hall at 11 o'clock by George H. Chase '96, dean of the University, and David M. Little '17, secretary to the University. Then they will visit Widener and Houghton Libraries, Memorial Church, Fogg Museum, and the University Museum.

In the Oxford group are A. H. Smith, warden of New College, Oxford; M. Platnauer, vice-president and fellow of Brasenose College: N. H. K. Coghill, fellow of Exeter College: T. H. Keeley, fellow of Wadham College: H. B. Moore, Brasenose, College secretary; and F. Gibberd, architect.

Luncheon will be held for the group in Eliot House. Attending will be: Dean Chase, Dean Hanford, Little, John H. Finley '25, associate professor of Greek and Latin and master of Eliot House, James B. Munn '12, Professor of English, and Theodore Spencer, associate Professor of English.
