Hu Shih, visiting lecturer on Chinese, will deliver the annual Ingersoll lecture this afternoon at 4:30 o'clock in the Andover Chapel on the "Concept of Immortality in Chinese Thought." This lecture, provided for by a fund left by Ralph Ingersoll, often called "The Great Agnostic" of the last century, is given annually at an April gathering of Divinity School alumni on the subject of the "Immortality of Man."

Professor Hu is also planning to attend the San Francisco conference at the end of this month where he has been chosen an official representative of the Chinese Government.
