John Knowles Lone Victor; Loss Ends Season's Squash

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Harvard's squash quintet went down in defeat Wednesday before a strong M.I.T. team by the score of 4 to 1, in a match which was played on the Engineer's court, and which marked the last of the current series of meets for the Crimson racquetmen.

John Knowles was the only victorious member of Coach Arthur Douropulos' squad. Nevertheless, although George Plimpton, Dan O'Callaghan, Art Conlon, and Joe Littlefield lost, they gave creditable performances.

As soon as the courts are dry enough, Coach Douropulos will start his tennis men to work in preparation for what he prophesies will be "a great season."
