University Confers 186 Degrees Upon Students

The University has awarded 186 degrees to students who completed their studies in the Winter Term, according to a report released this week. Many of the men who received degrees are now serving in the armed forces.

Of the 60 Bachelors of Arts given, 23 went to men in the Navy V-12 program and NROTC; of the 64 Bachelors of Science, 37 went to the Navy men.

There were also awards of 14 Masters of Arts, 10 Doctors of Philosophy, 4 Masters of Science, 1 Doctor of Science, 6 Masters of Education, 2 Doctors of Education, 4 Bachelors of Architecture, 2 Masters of Architecture, 2 Masters of Public Administration, and 17 Bachelors of Laws.
