House Basketball Tourney Set to Open After Vacation

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

House basketball will swing back into action next term immediately after compulsory athletics begin, it was announced recently by Adolph W. Samborski, Acting Assistant Director of Physical Education.

The spring tournament will be even more lively than the last two, since with the termination of Varsity basketball activities, it is expected that the league will be supplemented by veteran courtmen.

Best overall record this season is held by Company C of the V-12 Unit, with one first and one second place in the two winter tourneys. Standish Hall freshmen, who finished far back in the opening race, captured the second tournament on the strength of a 7 to 1 record.
