Ringing down the curtain on the winter track season, Jaako Mikkola's two relay quartets walked off with a pair of second places last Saturday at the annual B.A.A. Games in Boston Garden. Only other Crimson entrant. Pete Harwood, took third in the pole vault with a leap of 12 feet 6 inches.
Defries, Moriarty, Robbins, and Tuttle made up the two mile relay team, while Atwell, Steinbauer, Clark, and Wharton ran for the Crimson in the mile relay. Mikkola's shot-putting ace Jeff Tootell is scheduled to compete is N.E.A.A.U. Meet next Thursday.
