Three new appointments to associate professorships were announced last night by the University.
Those who received the promotions were Lynn Harold Loomis, associate professor of Mathematics and tutor, former faculty instructor; Pearson Hunt, associate professor of Finance, who has served, since 1940, as an assistant professor; and Abraham Lincoln Gordon, associate professor of Business Administration, formerly a faculty instructor of Government, who has been on leave with the War Production Board since 1942.
