To discover the benefits and short-comings of the present tutorial and adviser systems, the Student Council Committee on the General Education Report will poll undergraduates and graduates this weekend and early next week, it was announced last night.
Roger S. Kuhn '46, who is directing the poll, said that the survey would find out specifically what students think tutorial can do, and that its results would be included in the forthcoming Council Committee's report on the tutorial and adviser systems.
What students think about tutorial can have a great influence on final Departmental tutorial decisions, Kuhn said. The poll will explore bases for the tentative suggestions made by the Committee in a letter to Dean Hanford early this week.
