LAW STUDENTS TRY MOCKERY

The Ames Competition, Harvard Law School's traditional series of moot court trials, has been restored to the school's program as a postwar measure, officials announced yesterday. Currently engaged in the mock court work are the first and second year classes.

Of the 325 future barristers who entered less than two months ago, approximately 300 have enlisted in the program, which s designed to provide some practical experience for the future attorneys. The turn out of upperclassmen is not so strong, and Jerome Piven 3L, Chairman of the Board of Student Advisers, has indicated that the third year competition will` not start for a semester or two.
