Shifting to winter headquarters indoors, the undergraduate exercise program will swing into high gear Monday with the addition of House basketball, wrestling, and squash, Norman W. Fradd, assistant director of Athletics, announced last night.
The 5:15 o'clock conditioning class, formerly held at Dillon Field House, will transfer into the Indoor Athletic Building; crew practice, which has been taking place on the Charles, will move indoors to the machines at Weld Boat-house for daily sessions from 2 to 6 o'clock; squash can be played at the Eliot House or University courts from 2 to 6 o'clock, and at Lowell House courts from 3 to 6 o'clock.
As in the past, intramural basketball will be organized on a round robin schedule, with the NROTC units taking part. Beginning early in December, inter-House tournaments will last until the holidays, when the Varsity will be called out.
Other athletics to be held in the Indoor Athletic Building are: wrestling, at 4 o'clock, Monday through Friday; judo, at 11:15, 12:15, and 3:45 o'clock, Monday through Friday; special exercises at 2, 3, and 4 o'clock, Monday through Friday; faculty exercise class on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 5 o'clock; swimming at 11:15, 12:15, and 2:15 o'clock daily.
Boxing will not get under way until December 3, as Coach Henry Lamar will be occupied with football until that date.
