Modern soundproofed listening and practice rooms are being built into the basement of the Music Building. These rooms are to be used primarily by music concentrators, for whom facilities have been far from adequate.

The rooms, which may be completed within a month, will be of particular convenience for those taking Basic Piano, a new requirement for concentrators Several classes will be able to make use of the listening rooms for purposes of appreciation and analysis.
