Hallowell Appointed to Post On Staff of Freshman Dean

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Filling the post left vacant since June by the return of Professor Deknatel to full-time teaching, John W. Hallowell '31 will serve as assistant to the Dean in charge of Freshmen, Dean Hanford announced last week.

"The selection of Hallowell," declared Dean Hanford, "marks the resumption of the peacetime policy of having as a member of the staff of the Dean's office, whenever possible, a man who has recently taught at a secondary school."
