Winding up the 1944 Guadalcanal Decathlon will be the 3.7 mile University Handicap Course cross country race to be run this afternoon at 5:15 o'clock.

With results of the rope-climb, net-descent, 100 yard dash, and obstacle course already turned in, head coach Mikkola is waiting only for the cross country race before tabulating the final scores and awarding prizes to the first nine men.

Starting outside the Newell Boat House, the Handicap Course winds along the river bank up past the Metropolitan Driving Club almost to the Watertown line before swinging back toward Soldiers Field.
