In cooperation with the Boston Army and Navy Blood Bank, the War Service Committee of Phillips Brooks House will launch its summer drive for blood donations Monday. The campaign, which is expected to run for two weeks, will be particularly directed at the University's civilian undergraduates.
All who indicated at registration their desire to give blood will be called on by PBH representatives with the necessary forms and information. Thus far, 62 Adams House residents and 71 from Lowell House have registered. Any others interested in becoming donors should get in touch with William L. Sprout '47, Lowell C-42, or Milton J. Brawer '47, Adams E-11.
To qualify, men must already have reached their eighteenth birthday. Parents' consent is necessary for those under 21 years of age.
The War Service Committee will supply the forms to be filled out and will make the actual appointment with the Boston Army and Navy Blood Bank. In its spring drive, Phillips Brooks House registered nearly 75 civilian blood donors, while over 30 other students gave blood but did not register with PBH.
