RED BOOK FOR '48 IS STARTED

Student Council to Organize Photo Board Thursday Night

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Freshmen interested in photographic work on the 1948 Freshman Red Book will meet at 7 o'clock Thursday evening at Phillips Brooks House, the Student Council announced yesterday in a move to insure prompt publication of the yearbook.

The Freshman Red Book Committee, which in past years has taken sole responsibility for publication, will be elected later in the year. In the meantime the Council has started plans in cooperation with the House Committees. Freshmen who join the photographic board now will be in line for a variety of positions on the editorial and business boards as well.

In addition to a complete coverage of Freshman activities and sports, this year's section on athletics will be devoted to resumes of Freshman participation on Varsity teams. Other features of the publication are a class history and a complete Dean's and Scholarship List.
