In a meeting Tuesday night a Shepard Hall, members of the Harvard Liberal Union voted 18-6 to apply for membership in the United States Student Assembly. The vote was taken after two days of debate and discussion.
The HLU becomes with this action the second current Cambridge liberal organization to apply for affiliation with the USSA. The Radcliffe League for Democracy joined last month.
