SOCCER TEAM DEFEATS TURKISH M. I. T. ALUMNI

Providing that soccer is an international game, the Crimson soccer team has thus far in two contests, played a team of Turkish graduate students from M. I. T. and a team of Free French sailors.

In the opening game of the season, the Crimson booters outplayed the Tarks, 6 to 4. However, they succumbed to the French sailors in the second tilt of the year, 3 to 2. A return game with the Frenchmen is planned for this Saturday.

Coached by Jim MacDonald, the team is still green, but learning fast. The big guns of the squad are Paul M. Pearson, ROTC, and Robert Woodside, V-12, who have been leading the attack in the two games played.
