Hart Elected As Secretary

O'Rourke Appointed To Place On Council

At a meeting of the Student Council, last Friday, Robert M. Hart, V-12, of Oklahoma City, and Eliot House, was elected Secretary. Paul F. O'Rourke, '46 of Cambridge and Dudley House, was appointed to the Council to represent the Commuters.

Hart, recently chosen for Phi Beta Kappa, is a member of the Permanent '46 Committee. He was on last year's Freshman Committee and is a member of the Undergraduate Athletic Committee. One of the two longest-standing members of the Council, he is a graduate of the Will Rogers High School in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Thomas V. Keene, '45 was appointed Chairman of a committee to investigate undergraduate athletic activities. The group will start work immediately and report to the Council at some future date.
