The Editors regret and wish to correct the erroneous impression conveyed by the Phi Beta Kappa story in Tuesday's issue of the Harvard SERVICE NEWS.

The last paragraph, concerned with minimum requirements for election to the Undergraduate Chapter, had no foundation in fact. Election to Phi Beta Kappa is governed by a candidate's total record rather than course grades alone. There are no specific minimum requirements, and the only limitation is concerned with the maximum percentage eligible for membership in any graduating group.
