The spring crew season opened yesterday will several boats going out on the river from Weld boathouse, now opened as the headquarters for rowing activities here, Newell boathouse is closing and locker facilities are to be shifted to Weld.
With singles, comps, and wherries available to those who are qualified to use them and with crew open as a sport to both V-12 and civilians, the boathouse facilities will receive full use this spring. The Varsity has already been practicing for a week in preparation for a schedule which may include informal races with M. I. T. and a place in the Henley Cup races at Annapolis.
