A lecture on the Far Eastern conflict will be given in Lowell House Junior Common Room Tuesday at 7:30 o'clock by Sherwood Eddy, author and lecturer. The talk, which will consider the positions of Japan, China, and Russia, is sponsored by the Harvard Square Council of Student Religious Groups.
Mr. Eddy, a Yale graduate, has travelled widely in Europe and Asia, and served as Secretary for Asia for the Y.M.C.A. for many years. He was present at Mukden, Manchuria in 1931 at the beginning of the present crisis and was in Germany at the time of the Nazi purges.
