Lowell Institute Holds Public Lecture Series

Twenty-two lectures are being sponsored by the Lowell Institute during the months of March and April. The talks range from a series of eight on the art of the Renaissance in Northern Europe and a second series of eight on the psychology of reason belief, to six lectures on New England early theological literature.

Kenneth B. Murdock, Francis Lee Higginson Professor of English Literature, is giving the Monday lectures on the topic "New England Literature and Theology" which will conclude with a talk on the legacy of New England religious writing.
