An even split for Harvard was the result of the two debates held this week Last night the Debating Council dropped the decision to Haverford, while Tuesday the Crimson affirmative defeated Middlebury.

In the Middlebury debate Brewster Kopp and Robin Worthington represented Harvard on the subject: "Resolved: That there should be national conscription of women for war service.' The visiting speakers were Charles Parker and John Unterecher, The Judges, who gave the decision in favor of the hosts, were Harvey Wish, Claude Isbister, and Roy Macridis.

The Harvard Debating Council again had the affirmative against Haverford, with Leopold Haimson and Ellis Kaplan their speakers. The promise; "Resolved; That the United States should enter a post-war military alliance of which Russia is a member."
