Baker Leads Standish Over Company D, Lowell Beats A

Standish and Lowell defeated Company D and Company A respectively, Tuesday afternoon in the latest games of the Intramural basketball series. Paced by Baker, now the League top scorer with 40 points to his credit, the fighting Freshman team nosed out Company D, 28 to 24. Spence and Kettele, for the Navy, piled up six points apiece, but were unable to halt the Standish drive.

Handing Company A its third straight defeat of the season, the Bellboys climbed from third place to tie Company C in slot number two. Donahue and Haskell scored 14 and 9 points respectively, leading Lowell to a 29 to 21 conquest. Harshman, Silbert, and Spence played well for the ill-fated Company A squad.
