With all four House elevens idle yesterday, grid action will swing into high gear this afternoon when Adams faces the Eliot V-12 and Lowell tangles with the Eliot NROTC.
Last Tuesday's game between Lowell and the Eliot V-12 resulted in a 31 to 0 walkaway for the navy team, which captured the House grid title last term. Score at the half read 13 to 0 for Eliot but when Lowell's hard-running back Wally Robb received a gash over the left eye and had to leave the game, Lowell went to pieces, committing glaring errors on both the defense and offense.
NROTC Almost Upset
Wednesday an upset almost developed as a spirited Adams eleven held the Eliot NROTC in check, 0 to 0 for 55 minutes before Jenkins skirted left end for the game's only touchdown. Earlier in the hard-fought battle, the Goldcoasters had driyen deep into NROTC territory only to lose possession of the ball.
