Eliot's football squad faces Lowell this afternoon at 4 o'clock on Soldiers Field in the opening game of the winter term intramural grid season, it was announced yesterday by Adolph W. Samborski, assistant director of Physical Education. The V-12ers were undefeated in the three games they played earlier this Fall.
Tomorrow afternoon Adams is slated to meet an NROTC team. Friday two games will take place, with Lowell battling the NROTC and Adams facing Eliot in simultaneous contests, and Monday the season is set to end with two more games: between Eliot and the NROTC and Adams and Lowell.
After football, Samborski expects to hold basketball practice for two weeks and then begin a regular schedule. Later plans include intramural competitions in squash racquets and swimming.
